La Mansión Camagüey, Concordia #418, Centro Habana; Inside the fairly conventional exterior, is the stuff of dreams, a timeless gem, an architectural splendour;  built in 1913. The ardent "Morir por la Patria es vivir" ("To die for one's country is to live") etched on the walls of the former grand foyer. This building now houses one of Havana's most famous paladars, La Guarida. Hermosa Habana indeed. Stormy Weather- Havana

Pictures taken during workshop with Nicolas Pascarel, during the winter of 2017 and 2018. It expresses the gloom of a grey sky and flat light, yearning for the rays of the sun. Its also reflects the moods one often feels when one is devoid of sentiments or inspiration and needs the motivation to look for that sunshine which follows the storms, especially the warm, hot light of the tropics.
